New town and new adjustments

We have fully moved into our new home and absolutely loving it! I will definitly be posting pictures soon. It's a little weird being in a new city where yes, we do know people but it seems as if everyone has their own group of friends and activities they enjoy doing. You hope to make friends easily but it definitly takes time. People in the city were very open to new people and didnt mind including you in their group of friends and activities. Where we are now, it's the complete opposite. It's almost like you have to fight to become friends or be invited anywhere. We thought friendships were just suppose to come easy. It can be a little discouraging and depressing as you sit at home by yourself watching the same nightly TV program, but I am definitly grateful that I have my family and husband to help keep me busy. I hope to be able to change the small city and try the whole "city" attitude. I just miss my friends in Atlanta so much and wish they could of moved with me. Understanding that can't happen, I am learning to make adjustments and am learning quickly how people in this town are. We are going to make the best of it!

Moving into our first home!

Yes, we are moving into our first awesome place May 20th! It is a great 3 bedroom 2.5 bath in Newnan, GA. It is right on the Cannongate golf course so not only do we have a great home but a great location as well. Here are some pictures ( not our furniture ) and I will post some more after we are done decorating!

We are pregnant!

That's right, we are pregnant! We are getting more and more excited the further along I'm getting. As you can see from the pictures I have only had slight differences in my size from 10 to 25 weeks (which I currently am as of today) and often wonder when i'll start showing more. Before getting pregnant, I lost 55 pounds so I tried my hardest to gain as little as possible with still being healthy and more importantly, keeping my baby healthy. As of 25 weeks I have only gained 14 pounds which I am very happy about. Now, this isn't a blog about my weight loss but I must say, I have had a VERY easy pregnancy. I don't know if that had to do with getting in better shape before getting pregnant or if it was just the luck of my natural genes, but I have indeed been extremely lucky. When I first got pregnant (it was not planned), I was a little selfish in thinking, "MAN! I just lost all this weight and now I am pregnant!" Luckily, that only lasted for about 10 minutes before I realized the baby we had just recently been talking about trying to have, was finally ready to come. Getting married at 20 and now being 23, I definitely felt like I was growing up fast but also very ready for what was in store.
Before finding out the sex of the baby, I was 90% sure I was having a boy. Not only because I had no morning sickness, nausea, or hormonal changes but also because my husband's genes produce mostly boys. Out of Andrew's three older brothers, only one of them had any girls so I was definitely thinking that a girl was probably not going to happen. Andrew and I decided we wanted to go to the 3D/4D synogram place at 15 weeks to find out a month early what the sex of the baby was. The night before I got an overwhelming feeling that we were having a girl and when telling my husband about it, he was still thinking we would probably still have a boy. Of course being a girl, an extremely girly girly I won't lie and say I wasn't hoping for a girl but I also would of been happy with whatever God was wanting to give us. Entering the synogram place we were getting more and more excited to find out exactly what we were having. After about 5 minutes of the technician trying to get the baby to move, we found out that we were indeed having a little girl. It was music to my ears and I was overwhelmed with excitement and thoughts of bows, dresses, and pink.
Being a little over 6 months currently things could not be happier in mine and Andrew's lives. We are feeling little Mia Rose (yes, we already have the name) move and jump around, and we are also having fun decorating and buying things for our new arrival. Not only do we have a cute, snuggly, little baby on the way but we are also moving into our first home in another 10 days. Things really couldn't be better in both of our lives. We are close to a wonderful family who helps us out more than words can say and we will also be closer to friends and where I grew up in Georgia. Life is good, and we thank our heavenly father every day for what he has done for us.
